Yes, from now onwards you can login into facebook by using your username. Earlier one has to supply his/her e mail id for the same. This becomes a lengthy process and some times annoying too specially if you are logging in via a mobile phone as one need to type too many characters. This has made logging via mobile phones very convenient because the long e mail ids can be replaced by shorter usernames now. Just mention your username and login.

This is an additional feature and you will still be able to log in with your email address. If you haven’t set your username till date then you can set the same by going to ‘Settings’.
