US and UK Students can buy Windows 7 For $30 and £30
Yes, it is true. Microsoft has adopted a superb way to promote and secure the future of its Windows 7 by providing it at a very very low price to the future of tomorrow, to the Students. Students are offered two flavours of the operating system namely Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional.
The quoted price is $30 for both which is no where if we compare it with the actual price which stands at $119 for Home Premium and $199 for Professional. As of now the offer is available for the eligible students in US and UK.
Here eligible students are college and university students with a valid .EDU email address (an email address given by the college or university, for example: Suzanne@leeds.ac.uk ), a PC that is currently running a genuine copy of Windows Vista or Windows XP and can run Windows 7.
Students in US can apply for a copy right now but the offer starts on 30th September for the students in UK.
