First of all let me make clear the purpose of SpywareBlaster. SpywareBlaster doesn’t scan for and clean spyware from your already infected system. It prevents it from being installed in the first place. This is quite good approach as prevention is always better than cure. SpywareBlaster works on Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and Vista.

It doesn’t take much time to install SpywareBlaster. After installation you just need to activate all the protection. Below is the screen shot of SpywareBlaster’s protection status which will appear just after installation.

Now, just enable all the protections by clicking ‘Enable all protection’. It’ll take a few seconds for enabling all protections. Update its database to get the latest definitions and close it. As I mentioned earlier SpywareBlaster does not have to remain running in the background.
