Friends, I just came across a website called CarryoutText which enable you to convert test into an audio file in MP3 format and save the same locally in your computer. That too totally free and without the headache of downloading and installing any software.

CarryoutText provides two ways to supply text.

1) You can upload a text file.

2) You can type the text.

Once you are through with one of the above, just click on ‘Submit to process’ button. Below is screen shots :
