How to Enable Image Preview on Thumbnails in Windows Vista
Friends, we are very well aware of the feature in Windows operating systems through which we can preview an image on thumbnail. Some days ago this was no more a case in my Vista system. The system was not showing the preview of images on thumbnails. It was showing the image icons as below irrespective of I choosing medium icon, large icon or extra large icon in ‘Views’.

Following are the steps to enable image preview on thumbnails :
1) Open any folder.
2) Click on ‘Organize’ –> ‘Folder and Search Options’.

3) Click on tab ‘View’ and uncheck the checkbox ‘Always show icons, never thumbnails’.
![]()
Click ‘Apply’ and OK. The thumbnail preview of ‘Garden.jpg’ appears as follows.
Now you will be able to see thumbnail preview of all the images.
