Lock Laptop’s Touchpad with Free Touchfreeze
Friends, whenever I start typing blog content on my laptop, I encountered a situation number of time when the cursor jumps to some other line and the content was typed at wrong location. Well, its quite frustrating at times and this can happen to anyone. It happens during typing when your thumb or palm accidentally touches laptop’s touchpad.
So, how to tackle this problem. Well, I have herd that there is an option in mouse properties which serves the purpose but I was not able to find the same and I can’t wait to get rid of this. Therefore I had gone for Touchfreeze. If you are also not able to find the option in mouse properties or those options are not available on your system the you can also use Touchfreeze. Below is a screen shot :

Touchfreeze is a very small utility of 251kb and rest in system tray once installed.
Supported operating systems
Windows NT/2000/XP
How It works
It automatically disables touchpad while you are typing. It doesn’t matter if your cursor moves while typing as long as the movement of cursor is followed by a tap.
For downloading and more information you can go to http://code.google.com. Just search for Touchfreeze.
