Find/Detect Duplicate Images With Free AntiDupl.net
Friends, we all store a number of images in our computer. Be it images of our favourite movie star or flower or car etc etc. I myself have at least a thousand images in my own computer. Yesterday, I was just arranging the images in different folders and amazed to see that there are lots of images which are duplicates!
Yes, it can happen with anyone mainly because we copy or download images from multiple locations on web and generally do no have time to sort the images at that point of time. Afterwards it becomes very difficult to compare each and every image to find out the duplicates.
As a solution once of my friend suggested me a free software called AntiDupl.net. I tried the utility and find it really useful. I tried AntiDupl.net on my cars folder. Though, not many redundant images were found but the accuracy was really good. Below is the screen shot :

The best thing about AntiDupl.net is that it compares the images on the basis of the contents of the files, so the program can find not only almost identical, but similar images.
As shown in above screen shot, the duplicate images are shown on the left plane and any of the image can be deleted by just clicking the delete button. The deletion process can be performed for all the selected pairs with a singly click also. There is a button on the toolbar ‘Process selected results automatically’ which helps in achieving this. Below is the same.
