We all are well aware of the start menu in Windows family of operating system. Now doubt, it is pretty handy in accessing the various programs installed in the system without actually exploring the actual location of the program. How good it would be if we are able to access more locations that what presently offered by standard Windows start menu!

Here comes a superb freeware called Start Menu 7 to solve the purpose. Below is a screen shot of the Windows start menu after installing Start Menu 7.

• The list of menu items is alphabetically sorted, so you can easily find any program or command by its name.
• Open any location on your PC with a single click.
• There is a special Run button to access seldom used locations without adding them into menu.
• Start Menu 7 has a customizable power buttons panel.
• With Power Timer feature you can delay any of power management operations.

Installation

Start Menu 7.exe is 3.5 MB in size and installation is just a matter of few clicks on well known ‘Next’ button. The setup will give an option to either install the application for all the users or just for currently logged in user. Lastly, you must have 5.7 MB of free disk space in the drive where you are installing Start Menu 7.

Once installed, Start Menu 7 will appear in system tray as shown below
